Individual therapy
It is of utmost importance to me that the people who consult with me feel safe and supported in our therapeutic relationship at all times and feel able to give me honest feedback about their therapy experience.
I endeavour to create a relaxed and collaborative experience for the people who consult me, with the understanding that even in the face of the most serious problems, creativity and laughter can sometimes be the best medicine.
In my therapy practice I assist people to create change in their lives using a unique combination of the following therapies:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Multimodal Creative Arts Therapy
Narrative Therapy
Mindfulness/Awareness training
EMDR Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprograming.
Experiential body based methods.

- Specialised perspective shifting conversations which assist people to have a compassionate, curious, view of the problems they experience and the way it affects their lives.
- Teaching people awareness or mindfulness skills so that they can get out of their heads and into the moment and engage their witnessing mind to experience their emotions and thoughts safely.
- Exploration of what really matters to individuals and ongoing awareness and goal setting to bring their lived experience in line with that.
- Optionally using Creative Arts Therapy, the processes of which are highly effective at bringing into focus that which is inaccessible through language alone.
- Changing unhelpful beliefs through the processing traumatic memories using EMDR and other memory reconsolidation techniques.
